Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 12 large mushrooms
- 12 small eggs (quail eggs)
- 120 g herb butter
- Salt
- pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Clean and wash the mushrooms, remove the stems, pat the heads dry, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place the mushrooms in a greased, shallow baking dish. Crack the quail eggs one at a time and place them in the mushrooms. Spread the herb butter on top. Place the dish in the preheated oven and let the eggs set. Bake at 175°C for about 15 minutes.
