a Polish family recipe

Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Slowly heat the fat in a saucepan and, while you do this, form small balls from the dough. Not too large, as they will expand. This works best with an ice cream scoop. This allows you to drop the balls directly into the hot fat. Don’t add too many at once, as they will stick together. Fry the balls, turning them occasionally, until they are cooked through and browned on all sides. It’s best to make a test ball, cut it in half, and taste it to see how long and at what temperature you need to fry the quark balls to get the perfect result. Depending on the size, this will make 30-60 quark balls.
