Quark balls from the cake pop maker

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 125 g sugar
  • some vanilla flavoring or vanilla butter flavoring
  • 250 g quark, 20%
  • 5 tbsp oil
  • 250 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 2 eggs
  • possibly grease for the waffle iron
  • Butter, melted
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

not fried

Mix the sugar with the quark and flavoring thoroughly. Then add the remaining ingredients and knead into a dough (a bit tough to pull off the spoon). Add 1 teaspoon to each hole in the hot (butter-greased) cake pop iron and bake. The baking time varies depending on the iron, so it’s best to check on it every now and then. If you like, you can brush the quark balls with melted butter and roll them in powdered sugar at the end. I simply sprinkled them with powdered sugar. This dough yields about 40-45 cake pops.
