- ½ liter of milk, (just under)
- 100 g sugar

Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Base: Knead the flour, sugar, baking powder, egg, and butter well in a food processor and line the base and sides of a springform pan. Topping: Mix the quark, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, pudding powder, egg yolks, and cooled butter together and pour into the pan (very runny!). Meringue topping: Beat the egg whites and icing sugar until stiff peaks form and spoon small mounds of meringue onto the quark filling. Bake in a preheated oven at medium heat for about 1 hour. The meringue topping can be omitted. You can quickly conjure up a birthday cake using ready-made, colored sugar sticks. Or you can cover the whole thing with chocolate icing. Either way, it tastes delicious and isn’t as difficult as you might initially think (and even I manage it; I can’t really bake).
