For the crumble, mix the flour, sugar, almonds, cinnamon, vanilla sugar, and salt. Add the butter in pieces and the egg. Knead everything into crumbles. Grease a springform pan (26 cm diameter) and spread 2/3 of the crumble dough onto the bottom of the pan and press it down, forming a 1-2 cm high edge. Refrigerate. Drain the cherries. Beat the eggs and sugar until creamy. Stir in the quark. Stir in the egg liqueur and custard powder. Pour the mixture onto the crumble base and smooth it down. Sprinkle the drained cherries and the remaining crumbles on top. Bake the cake in the preheated oven (175°C fan-assisted oven) for about 45-55 minutes. After about 35 minutes, cover with aluminum foil if necessary. Then let the cake rest for 10 minutes in the switched-off oven. Let it cool, remove from the pan, and dust with powdered sugar.
