Quark-mango layered dessert

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 ml milk, low-fat
  • 125 ml Cremefine, for whipping
  • 1 mango(s), ripe
  • 100 g biscuits (Amarettini)
  • sweetener
  • Amaretto

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Delicious, light quark dessert

Whisk the quark and milk until smooth, then add sweetener and a generous splash of Amaretto, if desired. Whisk the Cremefine until stiff and gently fold in. Cut the mango into small cubes and simmer briefly in a saucepan with a little water until soft. Season with sweetener and Amaretto, and let cool slightly. Crumble the amaretti biscuits (best placed in a freezer bag and gently crushed with a rolling pin). Now layer everything in a bowl, starting with a layer of cream and finishing with amaretti biscuits. This dessert should definitely be refrigerated overnight. This dessert can, of course, also be made with other fruits.
