Quark protein bread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 eggs
  • 500 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 100 g pumpkin seeds
  • 50 g flaxseed
  • 50 g chia seeds
  • 100 g sunflower seeds
  • 100 g sesame seeds
  • 50 g oat bran
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 55 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Low-carb

Add the ingredients one at a time to a bowl and mix well. Then pour the dough into a bread pan. I recommend silicone baking pans because they are easy to clean and you don’t need baking paper. Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180°C with top/bottom heat for about 55 minutes. Then let it rest in the oven for a while. Allow the bread to cool sufficiently before slicing. Stored in a kitchen towel in the refrigerator, the bread will keep for several days. You can vary the proportions of the ingredients or substitute other seeds. The bread also tastes great with grated carrots or tomatoes in the dough. Anything goes. I like to eat it with sweet things, like jam, or with cheese, tomato, and cucumber.
