Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 250 ml milk
  • 200 g quark, strained
  • some lemon juice
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • Salt
  • Pepper, white, from the mill
  • 1 bunch chives, finely chopped
  • 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely chopped
  • 1 medium-sized gherkin(s), finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Heat the butter, briefly brown the flour in it, pour in the milk, add the quark, and leave on the stove, stirring constantly but without letting it boil. Stir in the chives, onion, and gherkin, season with lemon juice, sugar, salt, and pepper, and let it marinate well in the refrigerator.
