Quark rolls or raisin rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 8 tbsp milk
  • 6 tbsp oil
  • 100 g sugar
  • 1 sachet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 sachet of baking powder
  • 1 egg(s)
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 500 g wheat flour
  • 100 g raisins, if desired

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Knead the ingredients into a dough. If you want to make raisin rolls, add the raisins at the very end. Let the dough rest for 5 minutes, then form approximately 12-14 equal-sized balls. Place on a baking sheet and flatten slightly. Bake at 180°C for 30 minutes. Tip: If you want to make the rolls with rye or whole-wheat flour, you’ll need to use a little more milk and oil, otherwise they’ll be too hard.
