Quark Stollen with Amaretto
The perfect quark stollen with amaretto recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

- 100 g Ground lemon peel
- 100 g Ground orange peel
- 100 g Ground almonds
- 4 tbsp Amaretto
- 500 g Spelled flour
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar
- 200 g Sugar
- 1 packet Ginger bread spice
- 3 piece Egg
- 250 g Lowfat quark
- 100 g Chopped nuts
- 50 g Chopped almonds
- 125 g Butter
coating
- 1 some Liquid butter
- 1 some Vanilla powdered sugar
- I ground the lemon peel and orange peel pieces together with some of the almonds because we don’t like to chew on these pieces.
- Process all ingredients into a smooth dough.
- Shape into a stud.
- Slide the stollen into the electric oven preheated to 175 degrees (second rail from the bottom) and bake for about 65 minutes.
- Now let the stollen cool down and brush with melted butter.
- Then sprinkle well with the powdered sugar.
