delicious recipe from home economics class

Peel and boil the potatoes. Allow the cooked potatoes to cool and then mash them. Squeeze the quark thoroughly through a cloth or drain well in a sieve. Beat the butter, sugar, and eggs until fluffy. Stir in the lemon zest and quark. Add the flour, potatoes, and sultanas and mix everything into a smooth dough. Form the dough into small balls and fry them in the margarine in a pan until golden brown on both sides. Serve warm with cinnamon sugar. Fruit compote or apple sauce also goes well with this. This quantity is enough for about 4 people as a dessert. As a sweet main course, it is enough for about 2 people.
