Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 4 tbsp flour
- 5 tbsp butter or margarine
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- ½ tsp, crushed cinnamon powder
- 1 tbsp plum jam
- 1 m.-large apple, red
- 1 cup water
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Peel the apple, cut it into small pieces, and place it in a saucepan with the cup of water. Boil until the water has evaporated and the apple is soft. Stir in a large tablespoon of plum jam. While the apple is cooking, place the remaining ingredients in a tall bowl and mix with a hand mixer until large crumbles form. Pour the apple and plum jam mixture into a small baking dish, sprinkle the crumbles over it, and bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (fan oven) for about 20 minutes, until the crumbles are golden brown. I like to eat the crumble hot with a little cream on top.
