a healthy, warm breakfast from the microwave that keeps you full for a long time
Place the muesli or oatmeal in a microwave-safe bowl. Arrange the peeled and chopped apple on top. Pour water (approx. 300–400 ml) over the mixture until the apple pieces are about halfway covered. If you like, add a dash of sweetener or a little sugar at this point. Microwave the mixture for about 4 minutes at medium heat (approx. 600 watts). It’s best to place a microwave lid on top. Let it sit for a few more minutes; by then the water should be almost completely absorbed, the apples should be soft, and the muesli should have swollen. Then slice the banana and mix in. I like it creamy and mix in some yogurt. If you like, add nuts, flaxseed (good for digestion), or seeds.
