Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 cup whipped cream, 200 g
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 lemon(s), juice and grated zest
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • Grease for the tray
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 125 g butter
  • 4 tbsp milk
  • 200 g almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

First of all: Use a cream cheese tin to measure the sugar and flour. Mix all of the base ingredients together well. Grease a baking tray, spread the batter on it, and smooth it out. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for about 10 minutes. In the meantime, heat the sugar, vanilla sugar, butter, and milk in a saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until the sugar has dissolved. Remove from the heat, fold in the flaked almonds, and let the mixture cool slightly. Carefully spread the batter evenly over the hot batter and bake at the same temperature for another 12-15 minutes. Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely.
