Quick cake pops without baking

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 200 g ladyfingers
  • 75 g butter
  • 2 packets of vanilla sugar
  • 200 g cream cheese
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • n. B. Sugar sprinkles, for decoration
  • Chocolate coating

Instructions

Working time approx. 1 hour; Rest time approx. 13 hours; Total time approx. 14 hours

With ladyfingers

First, finely chop the sponge fingers. This is easiest done with a heavy object such as a meat tenderizer. It’s best to tear open the package afterward. Alternatively, you can use a food processor if you have one. Pass the crumbs through a fine sieve and chop the sieved crumbs again until they fall through the sieve. Mix together the softened butter, powdered sugar, cream cheese, and vanilla sugar. Add the sponge crumbs and knead into a dough. Form them into about 40 small balls. If you make the balls too large, they will be too heavy for the skewers later. Chill in the refrigerator for about an hour. Now the cake pops can be skewered on cake pop sticks or shortened shish kebab skewers and decorated with chocolate coating, sugar sprinkles, or something similar as desired. You don’t need a special stand; the finished cake pops can also be placed in a glass. Let them set in the refrigerator overnight.
