Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 can/n white beans, about 400 g
  • 400 g bacon
  • 1 large duck breast
  • 4 small sausages, coarse
  • 1 can of tomatoes, pureed
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • Breadcrumbs
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • Herbs of Provence
  • olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180°C fan/convection oven. Dice the bacon, remove the rind (you won’t need it), and fry the cubes in olive oil. Dice the duck breast and fry them as well. Fry the sausages, then slice them. Finely dice the garlic and onion. Place everything in a baking dish along with the passata and white beans, season with salt, pepper, and Provençal herbs, and stir to combine. Finally, sprinkle the breadcrumbs over the bacon until completely coated. Bake for 45-60 minutes.
