Quick cranberry sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 5 tbsp cranberry compote or cranberry jam
  • 2 tbsp horseradish, freshly grated (horseradish)
  • 1 shot of wine, red, good (I usually use a Shiraz)

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

should not be missing from any buffet

Mix all ingredients and serve. If you don’t have fresh horseradish, you can also use a jar of it (but use a teaspoon). It goes well with a variety of meats (beef, poultry, game, minced meat). I recently had it with sausage rolls. It was delicious.
