Quick goulash

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g potatoes
  • 250 g carrot(s)
  • 1 vegetable onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 pack of bratwurst (12 pieces – approx. 240 g)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp broth
  • ¾ liter of water
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Peel the potatoes and cut into small pieces. Thinly slice the carrots and dice the onion, then slice the sausages. Brown the sausages in the oil and remove. Briefly fry the vegetables in the fat, stir in the tomato paste and dust with flour. Sauté briefly and deglaze with the water. Stir in the stock powder, bring everything to a boil, and cook, covered, for about 12 minutes. Add the sausages and bring back to a boil briefly. Season with salt and pepper.
