Quick loaf of bread

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 100 g nuts or seeds
  • 2 tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 sachet of dry yeast
  • 500 ml water, lukewarm
  • Fat for the mold

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 30 minutes

Grease a loaf pan (a king cake pan, approx. 28-30 cm long, 10 cm high). Combine all ingredients in a mixing bowl to form a thick batter and pour into the pan. Preheat the oven to 200°C (top/bottom heat). Let the bread dough rise in a warm place in the pan until it reaches the top (approx. 20 minutes, depending on room temperature). Then bake in the oven on the middle rack for one hour. Tip: You can also mix different types of flour. I like to use 150 g wholemeal rye flour and 350 g wholemeal spelt flour—I find it delicious. You can also vary the nuts and seeds. The bread tastes particularly good with sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, flax seeds, pumpkin seeds, hazelnuts, or walnuts.
