Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g pasta (e.g. Girandolo or spiral pasta)
- 800 ml tomatoes, pureed (passata)
- 100 ml cream
- 250 ml vegetable stock
- 3 tbsp Italian herbs
- 4 slice(s) salami (0.5 mm thick)
- 4 spring onions
- 200 g cheese, grated

quick and simple
Preheat the oven to 160°C fan/convection oven. Place the raw pasta in a baking dish. Dice the salami and strip the spring onions. Mix both with the pasta. Mix the passata, cream, and vegetable stock with the herbs and pour over the pasta, ensuring the pasta is fully covered (any excess liquid will harden). Sprinkle with cheese. Bake in the preheated oven. Check the pasta is cooked after 25 minutes. If not, cover with aluminum foil to prevent the casserole from overcooking.
