Quick poppy seed and quark wholemeal rolls

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g wholemeal spelt flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 50 g poppy seeds, ground
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp mint, dried, optional
  • 1 tsp chili flakes, optional
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 250 g low-fat curd cheese
  • 3 tbsp natural yogurt, low-fat

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit). Sift flour and baking powder into a large bowl. Add poppy seeds and salt and mix everything together. Add the remaining ingredients and mix well with a wooden spoon. When the dough is smooth and firm, form it into a ball with wet hands. Shape it into 8 equal-sized rolls. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius (400 degrees Fahrenheit) for approximately 25-35 minutes.
