Quick Pralines with Dates and Nougat

The perfect quick pralines with dates and nougat recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 piece Pitted dates
  • 20 g Nougat
  • 1 tbsp Chopped hazelnuts
  • 1 tsp Apricot jam
  • 50 g Ground hazelnuts
  • 2 tbsp Desiccated coconut
  1. Chop the dates into very fine pieces. Also cut the nougat into pieces and place in a bowl with the dates and chopped hazelnuts. Add the apricot jam and some of the ground hazelnuts. Knead everything into a mass with one hand, always adding some of the ground hazelnuts until you have a malleable mass that does not stick quite as strongly. Shape the finished mass into 10 balls and roll them in the desiccated coconut.
  1. The preparation is very quick, so you can do it if you just feel like something sweet or if someone comes to visit whom you did not expect.
