Quick quiche with yogurt and cheese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 packs of puff pastry
  • 500 g natural yogurt
  • 2 small onions
  • 250 g cheese, grated
  • 5 eggs, depending on the size maybe only 4
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • n. B. Ham, bacon or vegetables of your choice

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Place the two sheets of puff pastry on a baking sheet and pre-bake in the oven at 150°C (fan oven) for a few minutes until the pastry rises. Then remove from the oven and let cool slightly. During this time, fry the onions. Optionally, you can add ham, bacon, or some vegetables. Reduce the liquid slightly so the filling doesn’t become too moist. Mix the eggs, yogurt, and grated cheese with the fried ingredients. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic. Pour the mixture onto the pre-baked puff pastry. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 30 minutes. For moist heat, you can place a heatproof container filled with water in the oven. This quiche also tastes delicious cold the next day.
