Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 8 egg whites
  • 100 g sugar
  • 2 bags of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g chocolate sprinkles
  • 70 g almonds, sliced
  • 50 wafers (7 cm diameter)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

Protein chocolate bombs, makes 50 pieces.

Beat the egg whites in a bowl until stiff peaks form – you should be able to “cut” them. Then, a tablespoon at a time, beat in the sugar, followed by the vanilla sugar. Carefully fold the chocolate sprinkles and almonds into the beaten egg whites. Prepare two baking sheets lined with parchment paper and arrange the wafers on them. Drop the batter onto the wafers using two teaspoons. Bake at 150°C (top/bottom heat) on the middle rack for about 30 minutes. The time may vary depending on the oven.
