Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 500 g spaetzle to warm up
- 1 cup whipped cream, 200 ml
- ½ cup cream cheese spread
- ½ bunch of spring onions
- 4 slices of cooked ham
- salt and pepper
- e.g. chili powder
- 1 bag(s) of grated cheese, e.g. Gouda, 200 g
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes
Combine the cream, cream cheese, salt, pepper, and chili powder in a saucepan and heat until the cream cheese has melted. Finely chop the spring onions and cooked ham and add them to the pan. Place the spaetzle in a casserole dish and pour the sauce over them. Stir and scatter the grated cheese on top. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C (top/bottom heat) for 20 minutes, until the cheese has reached the desired brown color.
