Spaghetti Carbonara

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 2 cups of cream
  • Parmesan
  • bacon cubes
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the spaghetti. Meanwhile, fry as many bacon cubes as you like. Mix the cream with the egg yolks and two handfuls (or less if needed) of Parmesan cheese, season with salt and pepper. Drain the spaghetti. Turn off the heat. Add the egg and cream mixture to the bacon cubes. While still hot, toss with the spaghetti until the sauce has nicely coated the pasta.
