Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 500 g savoy cabbage leaves, in coarse strips, without midrib
- 100 g bacon, cut into strips
- 1 small onion(s), diced
- 200 ml vegetable stock
- Vegeta
- possibly salt and pepper
- 150 g herb cream cheese
- Fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 12 minutes; Total time approx. 22 minutes
Heat the fat in a pan, sauté the diced onion and bacon strips until translucent. Add the savoy cabbage strips and sauté for a few minutes. Deglaze with vegetable stock, season with Vegeta, and simmer for about 5-10 minutes. Add the herb cream cheese and stir in the pan. Season to taste. This dish was served with meatballs and potatoes… a lovely fall and winter dish.
