Quick Thai-style minced meat dish

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g minced beef
  • 1 stalk(s) leek
  • 1 bell pepper(s)
  • 2 tbsp tomato paste
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 2 clove(s) garlic, chopped
  • 2 tsp sugar
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, dark
  • 2 bananas
  • 1 tbsp coriander greens, coarsely chopped
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and trim the bell peppers and leeks, then cut them into bite-sized strips. Combine the soy sauce, tomato paste, lemon juice, garlic, and sugar; season with cayenne pepper. Sear the minced meat in a very little oil in a nonstick pan or wok until crumbly. Add the vegetables and spice mixture. After 2 minutes, add the bananas and simmer for 3 minutes over very low heat. Sprinkle with coriander leaves. Serve with basmati rice.
