Quick three-nut macaroons

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 egg whites
  • 110 g sugar
  • 40 g ground almonds
  • 40 g hazelnuts, ground
  • 40 g desiccated coconut
  • 1 pack of lemon peel

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Using leftover ground nuts and egg whites

Briefly beat the two egg whites, add the sugar, and beat until stiff peaks form. Add the remaining ingredients and beat briefly. Drop teaspoonfuls (about 3/4 tsp.) onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for about 10-15 minutes. The cookies will spread slightly and be flat. Cool on a wire rack. Makes 2 baking sheets.
