Quick tomato pesto sauce for pasta

Ingredients for 5 servings:

  • 900 g tomatoes, pureed from the can
  • 20 g tomato paste, if desired
  • 200 ml milk (1.5% fat)
  • ½ jar pesto, green
  • oregano
  • Seasoning salt (tomato seasoning salt)
  • herbs, Italian
  • Salt
  • 1 bunch spring onions, chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Combine the passata with tomato paste and spring onions in a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly. Then add all the spices to taste and the remaining ingredients, bring to a boil again briefly, and stir well. Serve best with penne pasta.
