Quick turkey kebab

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 flatbread(s), fresh
  • 600 g turkey breast fillet(s)
  • 100 ml olive oil
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 3 tsp gyro seasoning
  • ½ cucumber(s)
  • 3 tomatoes
  • 1 cup coleslaw
  • 1 cup of tzatziki
  • 5 leaves of iceberg lettuce
  • 150 g feta cheese

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

with tzatziki, coleslaw and vegetables

First, wash the vegetables. Dice the tomatoes and half a cucumber. Finely chop the iceberg lettuce and toss it in a bowl with the diced cucumber and tomatoes and the coleslaw. Set the lettuce aside. Dice the feta. For the gyros, finely slice the onions, press the garlic, wash the meat, pat it dry and cut it into thin strips. Mix the onions, meat and garlic with the olive oil and the gyro seasoning and fry in a pan on high for 10 minutes until crispy. In the meantime, cut the flatbread into the desired pieces and warm in the oven at 80°C fan-assisted. Carefully cut open the flatbread and form pockets. Fill the pockets with tzatziki, feta, lettuce and meat, depending on your preference, and serve.
