Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 4 minutes; Total time approx. 14 minutes
Simple and vegetarian
Cook the vegetables with water and a little salt in the microwave at 900 watts for four minutes. You can also cook them on the stovetop for five minutes. They should still be crunchy. Let them cool, then cut the large pieces into smaller pieces. Meanwhile, chop the onion and mix it with cream or yogurt and the rest of the spices to make a strong-tasting dressing. The dressing shouldn’t taste sweet; the sugar or sweetener is only there to round out the flavor. Stir in the cold vegetables and let them sit for at least half an hour. Adjust seasoning if necessary. If you’re making the salad for several people, you can of course use fresh vegetables. However, for two people, it’s not worth buying a whole head of cauliflower and a whole head of broccoli. And frozen vegetables are always quick to hand.
