Quick vegetarian tarte flambée

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 pack of puff pastry, from the refrigerated section (roll)
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 3 garlic cloves
  • 200 g cheese, grated
  • 2 spring onions or 1 small leek
  • 200 g mushrooms
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

with puff pastry

Finely chop the onion and garlic, then mix them well with the sour cream and about 1/3 of the grated cheese in a bowl. Season the cream with salt, pepper, and a pinch of nutmeg. Wash the spring onions (or leeks) and mushrooms and cut them into thin rings or slices. Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet (the one you find in the refrigerator at the supermarket is usually already rolled up with baking paper, otherwise don’t forget the baking paper!). First, spread the sour cream evenly over the top, then arrange the leeks and mushrooms on top. Sprinkle the rest of the cheese over the top and into the oven. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 15 minutes, until the cheese is a lovely golden brown.
