Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 bunch of radishes
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- e.g. chili flakes, from the spice mill
- 1 tbsp, levelled sugar
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- salt and pepper
- some basil leaves
Instructions
Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
Wash the radishes and slice them thinly. Place them in a bowl and sprinkle with sugar and salt. Wash and trim the spring onions and slice them finely. Finely dice the garlic, but do not press them. Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a small non-stick pan and briefly sauté the spring onions, garlic, and chili flakes. Push everything to the side, add the sugar, and let it melt. Mix everything well and add the vinegar. There should still be enough heat for it to boil briefly. Remove from the heat and season with salt and pepper. To serve, sprinkle over the radishes and the finely sliced basil leaves.
