Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 ml broth, clear
- 2 bananas
- 100 ml cream
- 4 tsp curry powder
- 150 g ham (Katenschinken), mildly smoked
- 1 onion(s)
- 2 tbsp oil
- 1 clove(s) garlic
- nutmeg
- salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut the ham into very small cubes and fry in 2 tablespoons of oil. Finely dice the onion and add it to the pan with the ham. Slice the two bananas and add them along with the squeezed garlic clove. Pour in half of the stock and stir well. Then pour into a saucepan and bring to a boil briefly. Remove the pan from the heat, add the rest of the stock, the curry powder, and the cream, and roughly puree with a hand blender. The ham adds a little extra bite to the soup. Season to taste with grated nutmeg, salt, and pepper, and serve in warmed plates.
