Ravioli – casserole
- 2 Shallots
- 1 tbsp Butter
- 100 ml Milk
- 100 ml Cream
- 2 piece Egg yolks
- Salt, gourmet pepper to taste
- 2 Cans Ravioli in tomato sauce
- 300 g Cheese, grated to taste
- Peel and dice shallots. Take a small saucepan and melt the butter in it. Add the shallot cubes, sauté. Pour in the milk and cream and bring to the boil, stirring, for a few minutes. Then switch it down and let it simmer over low heat.
- After boiling down, remove the milk cream from the stove. Let cool slightly for about 5 minutes. Now you put in one egg yolk and stir it up. Then add the second egg yolk and mix too. Season to taste with salt & gourmet pepper.
- Take a baking dish and grease it. Then fill with the ravioli. Preheat the oven to 200 ° degrees top / bottom heat. Pour the egg-milk-cream over the whole thing and distribute it. Sprinkle generously with grated cheese to taste.
- Then place the casserole dish on the wire shelf and slide it into the preheated oven. Cook / bake in it for about 40 – 50 minutes. Then remove and immediately place on flat plates, serve.
