Raw Currant Jam

The perfect raw currant jam recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1000 g Black currant fresh
  • 650 g Sugar

Note!

  1. Before giving bad reviews and comments, you should try the recipe first! And YES, THE JAM HAS JAM CONSTISTENCE my grandma has been making it like this for ages and strangely it works;)

Preparation:

  1. If necessary, remove the remaining stems from the currants and puree with a hand blender. Stir in sugar until it has dissolved. Already finished 😉
  2. Now simply fill the finished jam into cans and freeze. (Without freezing it has a limited shelf life as it is not boiled down!)
  3. Depending on your needs, take a can out of the frost, defrost and enjoy.
  4. 5 …. -> jam consistency !!
