Baking: Apple Cake with Marzipan
The perfect baking: apple cake with marzipan recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 165 g Butter
- 165 g Sugar
- 4 piece Free range eggs
- 250 g Quark
- 300 g Spelled flour type 630
- 100 g Marzipan raw mass
- 1 pinch Salt
- 1 packet Baking powder
- 1000 g Apple wedges, boiled down
- Fat and crumbs for the mold
- Since our apple tree does not take a break this year and we have to reckon with a lush harvest, it is now time to process the boiled apples from last year sensibly. The result was this cake creation that is not only juicy, but also has a special touch thanks to the marzipan.
- Freeze the marzipan a little and then grate it roughly. Process all of the above ingredients into a batter. Finally fold in the apples. (Of course you can also use fresh fruit).
- Grease and crumble a rectangular shape (35 x 24), fill in the dough and bake it at approx. 175 degrees in a preheated oven for approx. 45 minutes. Switch to bottom heat for the last ten minutes.
- Sprinkle the cooled cake with powdered sugar and serve with cinnamon cream.
