Red Currant Mini Gugl

The perfect red currant mini gugl recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 100 g Red currant
  • 120 g Butter
  • 100 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 St Eggs
  • 180 g Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking powder
  • 3 tbsp Yogurt
  1. Preheat the oven to 180 ° C. Grease the baking pan for the minigugl. Wash the currants, drain them and remove them from the panicles. Beat the butter, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Gradually add the eggs. Mix the flour and baking powder and stir in. Carefully fold in yoghurt and currants and fill into the Guglformchen (I prefer to fill the dough with a icing bag). Bake the gugls for 15-20 minutes. If you are unsure whether the gugls are ready, you can do the stick test. To do this, you put a wooden toothpick into the dough and pull it out again. If no dough has stuck to the wooden stick, the gugls are ready. Cool the currant mini gugls briefly and dust with powdered sugar.
