Red-green marble cake

Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g flour
  • 250 g butter
  • 250 g sugar
  • ⅛ liter milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 2 packs of green jelly
  • 2 packs of red jelly
  • Fat, for the shape

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Cream the butter until fluffy, add the sugar, then add the eggs, flour, and the remaining ingredients (except the jelly) until you have a smooth batter. You may need a little more milk than specified. Divide the batter into two equal halves. Stir the green jelly into one half and the red jelly into the other. Pour some of the green mixture into a greased loaf pan, then add the red batter and top with the rest of the green batter. If desired, tuck in with a fork like you would with a marble cake. Bake at 200°C for 50-60 minutes. Tip: Once cooled, sprinkle with powdered sugar or decorate with icing and gummy bears. The kids love it!
