Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 225 g flour
  • 50 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 3 egg yolks
  • 2 drops of bitter almond flavor
  • 125 g margarine
  • 400 g marzipan
  • 3 egg whites
  • 450 g jelly (raspberry jelly)
  • some milk for brushing
  • Flour for the work surface

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Make a dough from flour, sugar, vanilla sugar, egg yolks, bitter almond oil, and margarine. Roll out thinly on a floured surface and cut out round cookies about 5 cm in diameter. Place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Brush with milk. Beat egg whites until stiff. Add the marzipan pieces and mix until smooth. Fill a piping bag with a star nozzle and pipe rings onto the cookies. Fill the rings with the jelly. Bake in a preheated oven at 175°C for 15 minutes (until the tips of the rings are lightly browned).
