Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 175 g butter
  • 6 egg yolks
  • 300 g sugar
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 tsp lemon(s), grated peel
  • 3 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 kg quark
  • 100 g semolina
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 6 egg whites
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 50 g sugar
  • 30 g powdered sugar
  • some butter, liquid

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Super tasty without a base, quick and easy

Cream the butter until fluffy. Add the egg yolks, sugar, vanilla sugar, lemon zest, and lemon juice, and stir. Stir in the quark, semolina, and flour mixed with the baking powder. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form. Continue beating with 50g of sugar and fold in. Grease a 28cm springform pan and pour in the batter. Bake at 180°C for 55–65 minutes. While still hot, brush with melted butter and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
