Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 100 ml red wine
  • 150 ml vinegar (red wine vinegar)
  • 1 tbsp pepper, mixed, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp rosemary, shredded or fresh and chopped
  • 1 tsp herbal salt
  • ½ tsp paprika powder, hot
  • 2 large onions, sliced ​​into rings
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce if desired
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 bay leaf

Combine all ingredients except the onions in a bowl and mix to form a marinade. Cover the bottom of a bowl with half of the onion rings and pour 1/3 of the marinade over it. Add the meat of your choice to the bowl and brush with the remaining marinade or pour the remaining marinade over it. Spread the other half of the onions on top and let it marinate for at least 12 hours. Add the onion rings to the pan or grill and serve with the meat when cooked. Note: The red wine used for marinating should also be served with the meal.
