tastes great with game specialties and meat dishes

Mix apple juice with red wine and preserving sugar. Bring to a boil in a saucepan and simmer until set. Add a rosemary sprig and a sage leaf to each jar. Fill with hot jelly and seal immediately. Using a 1:1 preserving sugar, the jelly won’t be quite as set as jam. It tastes wonderful with game and other meat dishes. It also makes a special gift from the kitchen.
