Refreshing cucumber smoothie

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 1 bell pepper(s), red
  • 1 spring onion(s)
  • 400 ml tomato juice
  • 6 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp sea salt
  • ½ tsp pepper, freshly ground
  • ½ tsp Tabasco
  • some crushed ice

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash and peel the cucumber, halve it lengthwise, and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Trim, deseed, wash, and dry the bell pepper. Wash and trim the spring onion. Cut everything into pieces. Place all ingredients, except the crushed ice, in a blender and blend until smooth. Then freeze for at least 30 minutes. Divide the smoothie among glasses, top with crushed ice, and stir once. Serve immediately. 41 kcal per serving.
