Refreshing mojitos from the carafe

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 ml lime(s), the juice, freshly squeezed
  • 30 mint leaves, fresh,
  • 150 g white sugar
  • 250 ml white rum (Baccardi)
  • 1 bottle of sparkling mineral water, well chilled, (750 ml)
  • Ice cubes, for serving
  • Lime(s), sliced ​​for garnish

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Juice the limes, discarding any remaining lime pulp. Add the sugar to a measuring jug and stir vigorously. Then pour into a carafe/pitcher, add the mint leaves, and stir. Add the rum and chilled mineral water and stir well. Place a few ice cubes in glasses, place a lime slice on the rim of each glass, and fill with the mojito. Depending on the size of the glasses, this will make 5-10.
