Rhenish Herb Cheese
The perfect rhenish herb cheese recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 2 potty Cream quark 40%
- 200 ml Cream
- 200 ml Black pepper from the mill
- 0,5 teaspoon Salt
- 1 tablespoon Lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon Sunflower oil
- 0,5 Garlic cloves chopped
- 0,5 Chives fresh
- 0,5 Parsely
- 1 Lovage branch
- Lemon balm leaves
- 3 leaves Borage fresh
- In addition:
- 800 g Small new potatoes
- 1 teaspoon Caraway seeds
- 1 teaspoon Branded butter
- 2 Cocktail tomatoes
- Onion strips
- Mix the cream with pepper, salt, lemon juice and oil in a mixing bowl. Chop the chives, parsley, garlic and lovage leaves as finely as possible and fold into the cream mixture.
- Finally, finely chop the lemon balm and borage leaves (last because these herbs lose their beautiful green color very quickly and turn gray when they come into contact with oxygen) … also add these herbs to the mixing bowl and do everything with the Work the hand blender thoroughly.
- Gradually work in the quark. Cover with foil (if possible overnight) and let it pull through in the refrigerator.
