Rhubarb and Strawberry Tiramisu

The perfect rhubarb and strawberry tiramisu recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 150 g Rhubarb
  • 150 g Strawberries
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 100 ml Orange juice
  • 2 tablespoon Orange liqueur
  • 12 Ladyfingers
  • 500 g Mascarpone
  • 500 g Quark
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 2 tablespoon Pistachios
  1. Wash, clean and chop the rhubarb and strawberries.
  2. Caramelize 50 grams of sugar in a saucepan and add half of the strawberries and rhubarb and let simmer for 5 minutes.
  3. Add the remaining rhubarb and strawberries and simmer for another 1 minute, place in a bowl and allow to cool.
  4. Place spoon biscuits in a baking dish, stir together the orange juice and liqueur and sprinkle the biscuits with them.
  5. Mix the mascarpone, vanilla sugar, the rest of the sugar and the quark and distribute the cream evenly on the biscuit.
  6. Now put the rhubarb and strawberry compote on it, fold it into the cream and chill for about 2 hours.
  7. Scatter the pistachio nuts over the top just before serving. *************************ENJOY YOUR MEAL***********************
