Rice Bread
The perfect rice bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 500 ml Whole milk
- 250 g Rice pudding
- 750 g Flour
- 4 tsp Salt
- 1 cube Yeast
- 200 ml Water
- 1 Pc. Egg whisked
- Bring the milk to the boil and stir in the rice. Let it soak until the rice is soft. Then put aside and let cool down a bit. Mix flour with salt and dissolve the yeast in the lukewarm water. Put the lukewarm rice pudding on the flour, pour in the yeast water and knead the whole thing into a smooth dough. (If necessary, add a little more water) Cover and let rise for about 45 minutes. Then put the dough in a greased loaf pan and let rise for another 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 220 ° C and place a bowl of water in it. Put the loaf pan in the oven, reduce the heat to 160 ° C and bake for about 60 minutes.
