Rice flakes with compote

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 tbsp rice (rice flakes)
  • 1 tbsp fruit or compote as desired
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Mix the rice or instant cereal with enough milk until it reaches a porridge consistency. Then stir in the compote or 1 tablespoon of mashed banana or other fruit. The rice cereal dissolves faster when the milk is warm. Breast milk can also be used to make the cereal. The amount can be adjusted depending on the baby’s age and hunger level. Every mother knows this best, and some even make extra porridge so they can eat it themselves!
